Coming from a background of hospitality and healthcare management, Sica's vast experience in Real Estate Investment and Development started seventeen years ago while working for Stoyanoff's Real Estate Group and studying architecture in San Francisco. In 1990 she moved her assets to live and expand her real estate investments in Central Florida as well as abroad, in East Europe and Australia. Her diverse portfolio and experience ranges from negotiating Long term (99 year) Government Land Leases to Speculative land purchasing to 1031 exchange or purchase of income producing property, rezoning and land use change approvals. Holding two MBA's, one in Tourism Development and the other in International Hotel and Resort Management, Sica's experience includes consulting in International Business Development, Market Analysis and Management Consulting with extensive knowledge in Planned Development for a mixed use tourist oriented commercial resort center. A leader developer in Romania, she is currently part owner of an extensive coastal waterfront Planned Development Project to include a state of the art Medical Imaging and Ambulatory Care Center and a commercial venue. Born and raised in a Christian family of Romania she follows the example of her family in serving and caring for others less fortunate. In 2002, Sica received from the Florida Hospital, after just returning from one of her missionary work trips abroad, the Medal of Hope Award, for her vision and passionate commitment to bring hope to hundreds of Romanian children who are ill and abandoned by providing them with love, shelter and healthcare. Sica's reputation exceeds locally, being regarded as one of the pioneers of the Sanford Historic District where she restored several properties and served as a volunteer for P & Z or a member of the Sanford Historic Board. She is known as the owner and developer of the Park Avenue Village in Sanford where she established the Rose Cottage Inn, a elegant boutique Bed and Breakfast with a gourmet Tea Room Restaurant she recently sold.
